Add hidden referer field to form

Hi all,
when widget is opened but there aren't online users,
I show a form to the visitor.

After form is submitted I lost every info about page referer so I'm trying to add a hidden field to have this info (identifier is already busy with other info).

Adding hidden field is the right way?
If so, how can I add this hidden field to form and set its value to referer?

Usually offline form stores chat with itself and sends e-mail unless this function is disabled and you can see visitor info there.

Thanks for the answer remdex but I make a mistake, there are online operators.

The situation is:
- prechat show 2 possibilities:
- recall me
- start chat

If visitor click on recall me was loaded the form but I'm loosing all referer info when it was submitted

I have:
- external site page containing widget
- widget load form in prechat

When form is submitted, the only info I have is the submitted url, otherwise something like /index.php/form/formwidget/.
Instead I have to know the referer info, otherwise the url of external site page containing widget.

Form module is almost not maintained so documentation i pasted is not relevant. So you will have to make up something smile

This file is not in a module so . . .
