Load Balancing livehelperchat to prevent downtime

Hey,
I work with Livehelperchat on AWS and I encounter some problems with the server itself.
I'm considering to move to another architecture, something that will contain a load-balancer with 2 servers, and each server will have the livehelperchat app.
Still not sure if there will be one or two databases (if there will be two, I guess they'll have to sync).
What we're trying to achieve is minimum downtime.

Do you recommend of such architecture?
Will the chat app work well like this or are there any known issues?
Did anyone already try an architecture similar to what i mentioned and can give advice?

Thanks

Re: Load Balancing livehelperchat to prevent downtime

Hi nightf, thank you for your question!
A live chat system can required different resources especially if you have a lot of visitors, operators, etc.

If you manage different websites and installation is maybe better to have a separate servers.
If you have load issue can also consider a commercial support help like in this other topic: https://forum.livehelperchat.com/viewtopic.php?id=2777

You can look also to this other discussion: https://forum.livehelperchat.com/viewtopic.php?id=1451
Node J maybe can help. I cannot help to configure it, for this you need the commercial support.

Usually i use a dedicated database for the live chat.

Re: Load Balancing livehelperchat to prevent downtime

Thanks for you fast response.

I don't have problem with load, but with other problems with the server itself - if it goes down for some reason we have downtime and we want some backup server.
So, I want to add another server and to have 2 servers that will backup each other.
Do you know about any issues with accomplishing this?

Re: Load Balancing livehelperchat to prevent downtime

I don't know how backup server can work.
You can try a different server in different host, maybe.

I feel very well with Contabo https://contabo.com/

Or you can also consider the hosted version of live helper chat:
