It's simple.
After the MySQL upgrade I can't see online operators or new/pending chats.
Every other setting is fine, everything was showing correctly before mysql upgrade from 5.6 to 5.7.
This is what I get:
List online operators IS checked (was before upgrade, still is after upgrade).
Logged user (me) is default admin/operator.
Tried clearing cache, restarting MySQL, Apache and even the whole server the chat is hosted. Nothing worked.
I've tried searching the forum, but the only similar problem is without answer : viewtopic.php?id=2322
EDIT:
Indeed, this is "common" and "simple". Took a bit of different keywords to search, also a different source:
I can't post GitHub links yet (new account) but it's the issue 1026.
I.E., it got resolved, but maybe chat should consider updating SQL code in operators list to adequate to new MySQL default options (this is a issue posted originally on May 4, 2017).
I'll leave the post here in case anyone else search forums using these keywords.

Hi rehv,
thank you for your message and report. Welcome on the live helper chat!
Hey there! Thanks for the issue you just opened, I think we were both writing our messages at the same time. The issue is resolved, but as indicated by my edited post, maybe the chat author should consider updating the MySQL code in the online operators list to avoid this issue on installations with default configurations!
Thanks for your support!
EDIT: Should I add this to the github issue?

Hi rehv , thanks for the update.
Should I add this to the github issue?
You can create a post in the issue with all update you want so you will also receive a notification email when the issue will be resolved.
The chat owner should be able to see this topic on the forum, included in the issue opened
