Need help? widget always appears

When admin'ing the chat widget there is the option "Need help tooltip timeout, after how many hours show again tooltip?". However, whatever we put in here the Need help? widget always pops up on every page every time. This is quite annoying for the user who even though they've clicked the x to close the widget is shows up on every page regardless of whether they've been to that page before.

Is this a bug? If I set the "Need help tooltip timeout, after how many hours show again tooltip?" the I would expect it to dissappear for that many hours. Is there something that need to go in to the Javascript?

I tested on my website and all is working fine: if you close the tooltip with x is not showed again.
I deleted the pro active on the demo, tested the embed code generated from the demo and closing the tooltip works. You never see the tooltip.

You are made me loosing my time big_smile again seems you have settings issue as on my side all seems work fine.
I suggest when you have an issue to test on the demo or new install.

Weird, yes you are correct. We are provisioning a new shop here https://shop5.igennus.com and on this site it keeps popping up.

I am surfing the website provided by you. There are no tooltip showed. I need open a new incognito windows as i previous closed the tooltip and the tooltip is now visible.
I never found issue related to LHC also in this new website provided by you.

That's very odd. It won't go away form me. My desktop is Ubuntu 18.10 and I've tried Firefox and Chrome, I've also just seen the behaviour using Firefox on a Windows 10 machine.

Nope, exactly the same. After a 5 second pause up pops the Need help? balloon.

Sorry, i have no idea how to assist you on this.
I tried more than one time to invite in chat on the forum but invitation has been not accepted. I am unable to replicate the issue on Windows 10 Firefox and Chrome.

ok, it's very odd. I've just fired up Vivaldi and opened a private window and it behaves in exactly the same way. But why it's only doing it on the new shop5 is a mystery

Many thanks for looking. I would have been inclined to say it's a Linux / Ubuntu oddity but it also happens on our Windows 10 machines. Why it only affects here I can't say. I'll try on the Mac at home tonight.
