Since upgrading yesterday from 2.91 to version 3.05 all our chat operators can no longer type responses and they see the message that they are not the chat owner. I updated to 3.06 today but it still happens.
Has something changed in the setup? What settings do I need to configure to enable our operators to type responses?
Thanks,
Offline
All chats seem to come through with the same operator selected in the Chats List. All chats seem to be fully accessible by her but not by anyone else.

Hi IGIT,
i am using the version 3.06 as i update as soon an update are available.
At the moment what you are reporting seems to be NOT an issue of live helper chat but maybe permission or settings on your install.
You see the message to type with caution when a chat is assigned to an operator A and operator B join or reply to this chat.
I cannot offer custom support for your install, for that there are a commercial support: https://forum.livehelperchat.com/viewtopic.php?id=2255
I can suggest to look at the documentation: https://livehelperchat.com/documentation-6c.html
How to disable operators open already accepted chats from their departments?
Are you using round robin/automatic chats assignment workflow? Maybe something is not well configured.

HI PeopleInside,
Thanks for the response, I looked at operator permission and attempted to change them as it looked like no one can answer chats assigned to another operator. When I had finished clicking all the chat permission check boxes all I could see at the bottom was a Request Permissions button. So I clicked that and it said the request had been sent. But sent to who and what I'd do with it after that were not spelt out.

You can consider the commercial support as seems you are having issue with permissions / settings.
You can try a new install if you want to avoid the commercial support.

Ok, sorted it. For some reason most of our operators had been made read only for the various departments. Selecting the correct permissions on the departments corrected their issue.
