Install Error

Hi Remdex!

I just tried to install the latest version of LHC. I get no errors but after entering all data I get to see the first page "Checking Folder Permission" again.

Tried with 755 and 777 for all the listed folders... Register Globals on and off, PHP 5.5 and 5.6... Uploaded all files again...

Please help ;-) Thanks a lot!

Sorry but this seems to be an issue in the server.
I do not suggest to use PHP 5.5 is deprecated.

I suggest to visit:

and maybe activate debug or check server error logs file.

Are you trying to install an existing LHC or it's a new install with empty database?

When you doing the install all is green on the setup check wizard?

This seems to be a server issue. You can Google the error and find maybe help.
This seems not to be related to live helper chat.

I'm having the same issue with an installation loop. Which log am I supposed to be looking at? My httpd error log showed some permission denied to the livechat directory. I changed the permissions to the entire directory, sub-directories, and files to 777 and I still get the same loop. Nothing is ever written or created in the database.

I suggest to use a different PHP, the fix is not to do in LHC I suppose.

i install now 1 before the last version and this install good without any error

This seems to be your side issue not LHC, sorry.

This is perhaps the least helpful forum I've ever been on. Every issue seems to be on the user's end but no solutions or even suggestions are ever proposed. Sad. Guess I'll look for something else.
