First Install returns "No input file specified" error...

Hi Sir,

Thank you for this Great Helpdesk and Web Chat software...

I used all of your demos and i tried to install my local system. My first try was on MySQL5.5 and PHP 5.4. All things were ok but, there was an error at the end of first installation process that i coudn't fix.

Then, i insalled a fresh MS Server 2016, MySQL 5.7 and the latest PHP on IIS. At this time, i couldn't start initial installation. When i type "localhost/lhc_web" then the URL appears "http://localhost/lhc_web/index.php/site_admin/install/install" and returned "No input file specified." suddenly.

Do you have any idea for fix this?

Best regards...

Hi fatihuslu,
welcome on the live helper chat forum and thank you for your first post!

PHP 5.4 is no more supported by LHC (Live Helper Chat).
Regarding last issue please check mod rewrite is active.
A screenshot can help me to understand the error better, anyway you need check error log on your server.

Usually I do not give support on localhost install as I cannot check anything.

My new server's PHP version is 7 and MySQL version is 5.7

ummm... i gave write permission for "cache", "settings" and "var" folders. Is there any other check method for mod rewrite is active?

just i'm gonna give you a teamviewer connection (also i can give RDP connection) to my server but how can i send private message? can you give your email? or other to send a private message way?

Re: First Install returns "No input file specified" error...

Hi,

I solved all problems  cool

"No input file specified" error is related php.ini file (my server has already in mod_rewrite). I changed the value "cgi.force_redirect" to 0. It was 1 before. And then, i installed LHC_WEB correctly.

Thank you for this great app...  wink
