Good morning!
I haven't been able to find information about it in documentation or forum.
I have 2 active departments in my chat, and operators can only be included in one department, i mean: if operator1 is in department1 will never be assigned to department2
Users can only start chat to department2 if they are logged as users in our web (subdomain.ourdomain.com)
Users can start chat to department1 always (when they are logged in our web in "subdomain.ourdomain.com" and if they are not logged, in domain "ourdomain.com"
It's configured in empbed code
I need to configure that operators from department1 can transfer chats to department2 but chats from department2 can't be transfered to deapartment1
Is there a way to configure this from administration? How?

Hi zoe,
you can transfer a chat only if the department is online and an operator assigned to that department are online.
You cannot transfer chat between two different department assigned to the same operator, actually.
Operator can be assigned to more than one department by opening the operator profile under "Assigned departments" tab.

Operators are only assigned to 1 department, no operator is assigned to both departments.
My question was if there is one option to configure that chats can be transfered from department1 to department2 but not from department2 to department1
Or that operators in department1 can transfer chats to department2 but operators in department2 can't transfer chats to department1
As i said before (maybe i couldn't explain well, sorry), firs i looked up in Faq, forum and docmentation and couldn't find any information about chat transfer per department.

Sorry no. If you can transfer form dep 1 to 2 you can do also from 2 to 1.
Also develop this I can't image how this can do and if can be implemented on Live helper chat.
Never know also if this feature exist somewhere.
