How to protect SITE_ADMIN page with password

Hi,

I'm using LHC, and it's very nice!   

I would like to protect the ADMIN area with a password before appear the user and login page, more or less like a .htaccess schema, is it possible?

is not suggested by me. Simply use strong password for operators.
