Custom Chat Widget Header

Hi,

First and foremost, thank you for this awesome chat system, it is awesome! It has been a pleasure implementing this system as it is well thought out and covers almost all scenarios of use.

That being said, I was wondering if it is possible to add a text header in the chat widget between the minimize icon and the pop-out icon?

When i inspect element in chrome and add text in between the <i title="New messages" id="lhc-msg-number"> and </i> tags it shows the title i wrote in perfectly.

I read the article https://livehelperchat.com/how-to-overr … s-59a.html, and I have tried creating a container.tpl.php file in the defaulttheme/tpl/lhabstract/custom directory. However, when i place the same text there it does not appear on the widget. I even cleared the cache and confirmed that settings/settings.ini.php still has 0 => 'customtheme', 1 => 'defaulttheme' are setup as required in the article...

Any indication as to what i am i doing wrong here would be greatly appreciated!

Hi and welcome in the live helper chat forum!
Thank you for your first post!

You can set a custom text in the widget theme but will be showed only on the widget not in the pop up.
At the moment there are no option in the settings for decide a text for the pop up.

As you have probably guessed we would very interested in this feature should it make its way into a future upgrade of Live Helper Chat.
