Unable to add Widget to Wordpress Site

I am struggling to add the widget to our website.

The website is running Wordpress with the Divi theme.

It is simply not appearing after adding the code to the <body>

I'm reluctant to post the link to the site here, but I can PM as necessary.

Hi and welcome in the live helper chat forum.
please try to put the code into the footer and should work.
You can also try to see if your Embed code work by adding the code here:
http://htmledit.squarefree.com/

If here works you have just to move in Wordpress the code in a correct zone.
If your theme does not allow to put the code in the footer you can try to look for a plugin to add footer code.

Unfortunately the Widget Embed code does not appear to work on the site that you specified, what could this indicate?

Hi,
when you generate Embed code there are options to not show the widget if the live chat is offline.
Check to not have selected this option.

The option to hide when offline is not selected.

The options string is as follow

chat/getstatus/(click)/internal/(position)/bottom_right/(ma)/br/(top)/350/(units)/pixels/(leaveamessage)

Seems from the browser that your install can have issue.
TypeError: lh_inst.initSessionStorage is not a function.

Please try a clean install, try to follow this also:

Check to have PHP superior to 5.6 and mysql version not too much older.
