The Chrome extension and desktop app requests http://www.northvalleymechanical.com/ many times per hour... like generating traffic to that website. Why?

I think live helper chat Chrome extension cannot simulate visitors or generate traffic for you,
however you maybe not need to use Chrome extension and I do not suggest to use it as is a browser components not updated.

You can use live helper chat directly from browser and in settings, live help configuration tab, chat configuration you can turn on browser push notification.
