Database Error

Hi all,

Upon opening my database, phpmysql shows these errors. What do I need to do to fix this?

Notice in ./libraries/session.inc.php#101
session_start(): ps_files_cleanup_dir: opendir(/var/lib/php/sessions) failed: Permission denied (13)

Backtrace

./libraries/common.inc.php#350: require(./libraries/session.inc.php)

Hi Danielc1234,
I don't know what has going wrong on your install. Please let understand that free support are limited. If you do something wrong in your install like edit code, do operation on database that will broke database, no support can be done by me.
Seems you are not a new user so I suppose your installation of live helper chat has long life.

You need check server error logs,
I need some more info for that reason I AM now chatting with you... for understand better IF I AM able to help you in some way,
if not you can consider the commercial support or try to upgrade to the last version LHC but this maybe if.. the issue is in the database, will not help you.
Last one solution is a clean install and migrate to this.

Hi,
as suggested make a full backup of database and folder of live helper chat and than try to update to the last version your LHC.

After check also to have the last version in the relative settings voice and check database is also updated.
If the error persist I suggest to do a clean install near your old and than with time migrate all settings. You can test the new Embed code in a testing page,
when all work you can replace all old Embed code with new and after some days that all is working fine remove the old broken install.
