Installl in subdirectory, not working (only in root)

Hello,

I am running the script chat in root, and it's fine. But I need install the script in subdirectory: domain.com/chatscript
The problem is that in the subdirectory I can not install the script, because not working.

What happen?

Actually if it does not work, it's just because of server configuration not LHC itself.

Remdex, could you elaborate, what should be changed in the server configuration if having the same problem as in the OP (original post)?

remdex, thank you for your reply!

However, I am unable to create the php5.ini in the site root directory. Our facility has a web server that works so that our small helper org has its web service in [root]/helpservice/, and our permissions don't allow adding files to the root directory.

Does this mean we're, like the saying goes, screwed?

Our manager would prefer using LHC because it integrates with the osTicket system we are using.

LHC works in subdirectory. If it does not work that means just server misconfigurations nothing more.

Yes. Do you have any recommendations, what should I ask the server administrators to re-configure if they can? Or is it just about uploading the php5.ini?
