Active chat list ever time out?

I'm not sure I understand the intent of the "active chat list" correctly. I thought it lists all the active chats taking place right now. My active chat list still includes the dead chats from couple of days ago. How and where can I adjust the timeout value so that they'll be moved to the "closed chat" after certain idle time say 10 minutes?

Activate chat - chat which operator accepted but did not closed a chat
You can close chats manually or
