Block IP of operators network

I've tried to block the WAN IP address of the network of our operator(s). I've tried the "Blocked users" and "Online Tracking" (under Chat Configuration), however, browsing at these IP locations still results in showing "Online Users" for this location.

My goal: Block specific IP addresses from being able to initiate chats and/or shown the chat modules on the site, as well as do not list them in Online Visitors.
