automated Hosting from scratch

I am novice but need help to use automated Hosting, I dont know what cronjob is and how to apply it. and other feature.

I also could not get what should be inside the cron jobs
There are some files in the tutorial or documents but don't show what should be contained in them or how they are linked together.
I think some of the guys must also contribute if they managed to get around some of the issues.

I am looking for someone to.add step by step process. I can help until manual instance and I get lost from there
