Cross Site Scripting?

Hi, I have two questions in regards to the LiveHelperChat tool:
1) Any information about potential cross site scripting vulnerabilities of the chat tool?
2) Is the tool IE8 compatible?

1. During whole two years there was 0 detected security issues.
2. And yes and no. Chat itself will work, just design can be strange at some parts.
