Help with departments/operators issue

Hi I need help here with an issue im having. Im using different departments with different operators on different pages of the same website and my problem is if a user doesnt close the livehelperchat widget when visiting another page with embed code for another department/operator the user still seems to be automatically chatting to previous operator from previous department even though the new department has be assigne to specific operator. Please how can this be fixed i have gone through your documentation and not seen anything about how to configure this software not to do that. What am i doing wrong?

Hi,

Sorry but it would be just not logical to have chatting with one operator at one page and on another page with another. As soon chat started it remains the same across all pages.

So let me get this right you are saying even though i have created a specific department to handle specific chats once the chat is started with the unrelated department/operator all the chats are directed to the unrelated operator rather than the one assigned. So If that is the case, then why do we have to assign operators to departments? Maybe I'm getting it all wrong.

Yes, as soon chat starts it does not change operators or departments.
Assignment is required for operator to see only assigned department chat requests.
