I am trying to get and auto greet to work with no luck. Maybe someone could point me in right direction.
I've done,
System Configuration/Live Help Config/Pro active chat campaign
New -> Name: Greetings Default Message: Hello (just something)
System Configuration/Live Help Config/Pro active chat invitations
Name: Autogreet
Op Name: Shot
Position: 0 (that is what it was)
Lang: (empty)
time onsite : 10
tag: welcome
campaign: Greetings
message: Welcome to our online help
I've tried both making it Dynamic invitation and non-dynamic
Please help, what have I missed.

1. Make sure you did not choose any department in proactive, if you did make sure you selected in during embed code generation
2. Make sure you checked in generation window check for operator mesaages

It was a good try, yes to all and 3, still no show. I can send a private message to a user, pops up, sound works, but not automatically
I did try in Chrome, IE and Firefox just so you know. Do I need a bot? Should it be Dynamic. I am trying to create it dynamically I guess when the user visits my site?

You don't need dynamic... See demo site how it was done in official website.

I have tried the demo ones. Copied word for word. I do get a "Matched" 1 time on the autogreet, 30 seconds in says "Invitation was assigned to online visitor". On the page views I don't get any matches and I viewed 20 pages a couple times and that didn't show either. When I check the online users tab it show my users and has a red "Unseen" with hover tip "sent user a message".
I just got one to work. The 30 seconds on site. I had my operator disabled and when I enabled it the message showed.
When I popped the widget up the message showed above the "Name*"

Really can't help as here all works. If you wan you can skype me, nick remdex, perhaps quickly i can see what you are missing.

It seems an operator has to be online for the proactive? If so that's my problem, I was using as a sales pitch or support. Are you online each time I see yours or are you never offline?

No. Demo installation on site has setup department online hours just. Because if no one is offline widget is grey and invitation is not send. I have also updated a little bit this part https://doc.livehelperchat.com/docs/pro … nvitations see last two points.

ohhhh ok that explains some thanks. Just to inject, excellent app thanks for sharing, very cool especially once I start seeing your thinking Can I style the popup message? Little border, off shade of white.

Just use themes
"Custom CSS" > "Widget container additional CSS, takes effect after save" and chrome toolbar is your fiend to decide what css to write
