How to Demo Cobrowsing

How do I demo co-browsing?

I start a demo session with the front end and back end. Then I click on the little black eye here:

A new window pops up and I see this:

Then I attempt to click on the blue eye and nothing happens.

There is no change on the client window.

Hi,

If you saw my weekly video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iQUaPiO2sT8 there is one issue. As soon you click blue button you have to activate visitor window, because chrome in recent versions forbidden showing confirm modals in background window. I'll be doing fix for that.

Usually it's not a problem because you most of the time are chatting with customer who has active window, but for demo purposes it's harder to demonstrate smile

I have updated and pushed changes to github. Confirm dialog will be shown once you activate window where chat is going smile

I tried to use it on your demo site and it did not work. I had a friend chat with me so there would not be a conflict with the browser. I made sure his browser was active. we were both using Chrome on Mac.

I have just updated how co-browsing is requesting permision on browser. I still think it was just an issue with confirm stuff.

The remote user never receives that popup.

Well, I helped as mutch I could... just try now, as in the morning I updated with modal window instead of confirm smile

Thank you for being so fast on responses.

We tried again and it did not work.

I am admin using chrome in incognito mode to avoid caching issues.

The remote user tried chrome (in standard mode) and Firefox developer after clearing cache.

The remote user had the F12 window open and there were no error messages.

We did this over zoom so it was two different users.

We can create a zoom session so you can see this behavior.

Did you seen youtube video and did exactly what i did? We can do zoom but only tomorrow. After 10h from now earliest.
