A little doubt about subjects and chat widget

Hello guys.

I'm thinking about the following:

Is it possible, show the subjects of a certain departament on the widget chat ? My goal is, once the department is chosen, show the subjects associated with that department for the customers to choice one to talk about.

Hi,

You can not let visitors choose chat subject in widget, but you can

1. Just use product module and it will show product based on chosen department. https://doc.livehelperchat.com/docs/department/product/
2. Another option is just define custom start chat fields by department. And define dropdown there. The only limit if you do not pass single department it does not update widget fields. This will change in next releases

Hi folks. Well, i'm missing something. I made all that you recomended remdex, but products is not shown on widget chat.

So, i don't know what's wrong. I choose the department and the products for the widget, as shown in the line below

index.php/por/chat/getstatus/(click)/internal/(position)/bottom_right/(ma)/br/(hide_offline)/true/(top)/350/(units)/pixels/(department)/9/(prod)/1/2/3/(survey)/1?r='+referrer+'&l='+location;

And I still get the error asking me to choose a product to start a chat, but the products are not show in the widget.

1. Use new widget
2. In product configuration you should have checked both
[X] Product module is enabled
[X] Enable products show by departments

New widget is available on wich version ? I'm still using version 3.04. It's possible to use new widget on this version ?
If not, is possible to emulate this feature on that version ?

1. Just read some news were it was introduced. Just update to the 3.32 min.
2. Just try automated hosting to see how it works.
3. But in general it should work even no old widget, if it not you just miss something... What exactly to hard to say
