Livehelperchat using up all my bandwith.

Good day,

I am new(for about 10 days now) to livehelperchat, and am loving it already smile
The only problem i am having is that my hosting only gives me 5GB of bandwith per month.
This was never a problem, as i would never even get close to this 5GB bandwith marging in the past,
but now that i have livehelper chat it seems to be consuming about 250mb per day. and this is only with one agent for about 8 hours behind the chat doing about 5 text chats a day.
Is their anyway i can lower the bandwith use of the chat?

Kind regards,

Steven

Re: Livehelperchat using up all my bandwith.

Hi,

Few things.

1. "Check for operator invitation messages" Make sure you did not checked this one in embed code generation. It makes call every n minutes to check is there any messsage for proactive invitation.
2. "In chat configuraiton -> Visitor activity -> Interval between chat status checks in seconds, 0 disabled." Make sure you have 0 zero there. It won't be checking backend every n minutes is there any operator online.
3. Make sure you are using new widget.
4. Disable widget's you don't need in dashboard.
5. Also disable some lists you don't need in Account-> Visible lists

That's it basically.
