Close pending chat without deleting

I need to delete the pending chat with one click or maximum of two clicks.
The trashcan will delete the pending chat completely which we don't want.
So is there a way to add the Close Chat button and replace it with the trashcan?
Or maybe another way to close pending chats without opening the chat....

In chat list's it's possible to close batch of selected chats.
