Sending Chat User Info to Database instead of Email

hello good morning. please i want to find out if there's a way i can route the data (name and email) inputed by users through the chat form so that it submits to the database instead of being sent to an email. If you can point me in the direction of the specific file that contains the codes to send out the mail, i should be able to create an sql query and submit it to the database. This is to enable me setup a backend where non technical staff can easily view the data and also manage it effectively. I noticed a user table in the database but i think it is for the chat application users instead of chat users. Thanks in advance
