Disable New Tab from opening (end-user)

Whenever an end user on our site clicks on a new internal link, Live Helper Chat opens in a new Window. Is there an option to disable this? I haven't been able to locate the setting if so.

If you are on mobile, no.
If this happen in the widget maybe your embed code is to regenerate by checking the option "On a mouse click show the page widget".
