Add new theme

I have created new .json file to use as my new widget theme. However, when I upload the file it disappears. I need to access that to make a new widget theme for my site. Can you help me with it?

What version of Live helper chat are you using?
In chat or in private ticket we can discuss about your issue as we need check version of PHP in use, we also have to understand if you recently updated the chat or if your chat is old, error logs of your server, etc.

Welcome back. Currently i'm using version 2.46, but will update to 2.5 as soon as my problem is resolved. I'm trying to create a unique identity through customized chat widget. I know there is an option to import "New Theme". I have done this part, but as for accessing the new theme i'm not able to do so.

Is there a way to get this done? If so, can you guide me through that. I would be highly obliged.

Hi,
when you export a widget is showed a blank page, maybe: this is normal.
You can find the imported theme by going in settings, live help configuration, widget themes.

I did that too. All it shows standard theme. This is what I did. I created a new widget as it says that it has to be in .json, but when I access that it shows standard widget.

Means your imported widget loose all customization? This seems strange to me and in this case I can only support in live chat,

Hi,
your issue was resolved in chat.

We have opened a theme, edited but not saved,
we saved it. Now you need replace your custom widget code with the LHC generated Embed code.

We have set as default the widget theme desired by you.
