I have created an alias user in admin to serve as a "staff member". Is there any way I can have the alias user signed in at the same time as I am from the same IP address and same computer? So, for example: Myself and my alias staff member could be logged in at the same time and if "she" was chatting with a client, who wanted to speak with me directly, the staff member could transfer the chat to me, etc... How do I go about doing that?

Hi,
have you created two different operator or admin account and are you logged out if you connect from the same IP?
No, I AM testing and if I log in from another account also if the IP is the same I AM not logged out.
I AM unable today to reproduce also if I log in from the same account in the same IP from two different device however I know in a recent update has been introducing IP limits so you should be logged out if log in from the same IP.
About what you are asking seems I AM unable to find a guide so if you need help really with that you should open a topic in GitHub by asking How To Have 2 Users Logged In At Same Time From Same IP/Computer? and asking to add this in the case is not more supported.
Maybe the IP limitation has been added for security but I can understand can cause issue in some cases. Maybe an option in MISC should exist to let the user decide.
Thank you!
