Retrieves Session

Good afternoon, I would like to know how to keep a session that has been lost. Ex: I got chatting with a person but her connection dropped so the connection of that person it must connect to the same conversation.
You can do this?

This is a good question.

You need test some settings and see what fit better to you.
In the LHC, settings >> live help configuration >> chat configuration >> Misc
you have:

Reopen chat functionality enabled, 0 - No, 1 - Yes
So this is an option you can activate. This will enable the user to see a resume button near the button where start a new chat.

Reopen closed chat as new? Otherwise it will be reopened as active.
This is another interesting option that will allow to choose as in the sentence if start a new chat or resume chat.

Another settings.

You need to combine all this settings and test until you don't find your needs

PS: By settings the right settings when visitor come again in the website can resume the chat opened so I suggest to try this:
Reopen chat functionality enabled, 0 - No, 1 - Yes check this, enable it
Reopen closed chat as new? Otherwise it will be reopened as active. uncheck this, disable this

than test.
