I have tried running both versions of Windows client.

Windows 10 (however the same happened with Windows 7)

With QT4 I enter user name, password and address and get message 'Authentication failed'.

With QT5 nothing happens when 'OK' button pressed.

I am following address protocols as defined in documentation (mysite.net/livehelper/), although have also tried with http:// and with different user logins that work fine on web console.

Please can you suggest what I am doing wrong so we can use Windows client.

Hi,

1. Try on demo login with desktop client.
2. If it works really no idea. There is commercial support if you want to have personal look. Because now just impossible to tell what's wrong... sad

Hi

Tried it on your demo site and client still reports 'Authentication Failed'

User: admin
p/w: demo
Host: demo.livehelperchat.com/

When I first tested a few months ago I had the client working on the same PC. And I just tried on another PC with same result.

I will try from my home network in case there is something here, but there is no extreme firewall or special security so can't see what is blocking it.

Any ideas?

I've tested this on a different network and still can't access your demo login.

You have to enter https://demo.livehelperchat.com/ for demo
