Syntax Error

I've installed LHC and widget works great if I use console hosted at Livehelperchat.com, but if I install console on my host the widget does not appear.

I ran chrome console and it shows: Uncaught SyntaxError: Unexpected token <      http://mobexx.net/livehelperchat/lhc_web/index.php/

I've installed console at different parts of host and re-installed a number of times.  I've left console as installed to ensure I can't introduce any errors.

What could cause this?  It must be something easy for me to fix....

Re: Syntax Error

And if I use Firebug the error under console is shown as:

SyntaxError: expected expression, got '<'

http://mobexx.net/livehelperchat/lhc_we … exx.net%2F
Line 1

How can a standard install of Console be different from the console you automatically install on your server?  I'm happy to use yours, but have spent time configuring it, and also it was previously working, so I would like to complete the install on our hosting.

Many thanks......

Re: Syntax Error

Hi,

Just remove /eng/ from URL address. In local enviroment it's not needed.

So it would be like

http://mobexx.net/livehelperchat/lhc_web/index.php/chat/getstatus/(position)/bottom_right/(check_operator_messages)/true/(top)/500/(units)/pixels/(leaveamessage)/true?r=%2F%2Fmobexx.net%2F&l=%2F%2Fmobexx.net%2F

Re: Syntax Error

OK, Thanks

Found the setting in 'settings.ini.php'

I'm using the new Drupal module, which is a great tool to deploy lhc.
