Updating to latest version

Hi there,
I am looking to update to the latest version of Live Helper Chat but I am unsure how. I have not upgraded since the first installation in January but would like to migrate to the latest revision if possible, without losing any of the previous chats from the administrator console. How can I check what the version number is that I am using?

Hi,

1. I suggest just follow this tutorial if you can. http://livehelperchat.com/old-upgrading-instructions-335a.htmlor if you do not want to mess around with database a lot just replace files according to our new http://livehelperchat.com/article/view/63 upgrade tutorial.
2. If you will get a blank screen, just copy file from doc/shell/upgrade.php to your root directory where index.php resides and just enter in your browserchat_directory/upgrade.php - it will upgrade database automatically and also clear cache. After this you can login to lhc.
