After Upgrading Mysql and PHP Live Helper Chat Stop to work

Hi Rem,
after update my server Mysql and PHP LHC stopped to work.

Now i had set all cache folder and files to 777, is this wrong? Now is working.
Maybe can you improve a file permission check?

Like when user want can load for example
/livechat/index.php/site_admin/permission.php
where a script check all file and folder permission like when there are a new install.
If some problem found the guide alert the user what is wrong.

Now i gived to all file and subfolder in cache the 777 permission and LHC is working but is this correct or i had made something wrong, and i need change permission? Thanks.
I mean is wrong to set all file and subfolders in cache to 777?

If yes how i can fix? Thanks

Hi,

Setting cache folder, and var folder should be sufficient. I will think about adding helper php file, to let LHC do self check quickly.
