Chat history lost on page refresh

Hey again,

When a visitor closes the window or refreshes the page, the chat history is gone. The visitor is prompted with a new chat box, starting the discussion over, from scratch.

Is there a setting to make the user start where he left (as long as the operator didn't close the thread)?

You can enable automatic chat reopen in chat configuration section. It will do pretty much the thing you want to do now.
