pop message box does not close after leaving message

is there a way to have the message box close after visitor leaves a message if i am offline?  currently it stays open although the send box is sort of greyed out.  that could be a little confusing to a visitory because they cannot tell if the message has been sent

I am unable to understand the sentence and the situation "is there a way to have the message box close after visitor leaves a message if i am offline?"
The offline form is totally different from the forum when the chat is online. This when an email in the offline form is required.
After you send an offline message visitor will see a green confirmation message.

The situation described by you is when the chat is already opened and no one is online?
How i can replicate?
